Welcome To Riverside Elementary School
Dear Partners in Learning,
Spring is in the air! Any needed progress reports went home on March 6.
If you have not already done so, be sure to sign up for a Genesis account. Report Cards were not sent home with the students at the end of the second marking period. By this time, parents should have logged onto Genesis to see their child's report cards. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org if you still need to set up an account.
RES has created a Remind 101 messaging account for parents. This will serve as a reminder for various school events and special activities. If you would like to receive a text reminder right to your cell phone you can sign up and join the group by texting @mrswawrzyn to (856) 942-4113.
Our students in grades 3-5 have PARCC testing this month. The testing is underway and going well! This is a computer-based, state-wide assessment for which we have been preparing our students for years.
Reminder, we are asking you to NOT bring any forgotten items to school for your child after school has begun for the day. With this rule, we are hoping to both encourage responsibility and support our security measures further.
